My favorite medium!!!  There is nothing like the play of light thru and on an oil painting.  I have always used a combination of palette knife, brush and cattle marker to play textures off of one another.  

I completed my Senior Year in college with a study abroad in Vienna, Austria.  I was truly awe inspired by the works of Gustav Klimt.  The size of the paintings, the texture combinations and gold leaf struck me as impressive. 

I really love to combine 2d and 3d textures in painting.  Im pretty sure that spark drove me to my next degree in 3d animation.
