Day 1: Tuesday, September 17, 2024 Overnight Flight You’re on your way to the country of four languages that is one of the most heralded destinations in Europe. Get ready to experience the culture, history and lifestyle of Switzerland firsthand.
Day 2: Wednesday, September 18, 2024 Arrive Zurich, Switzerland - Tour Begins Welcome to Switzerland! After you land in Zurich, join a walking tour of the city. Take in the magnificent Grossmünster and Zwingli Statue, see the house where Conrad Grebel lived, and explore historic Old Town. At the end of your tour, stop for lunch in Old Town. After lunch, return to your hotel for an evening at leisure. (L)
Day 3: Thursday, September 19, 2024 Zurich - Glattfelden - Zurich This morning, board the local train* to Glattfelden. Spend the afternoon exploring the municipality on your own. After taking the local train back to Zurich, you will have the rest of the afternoon and evening free. Perhaps you will explore activities on Lake Zurich, or visit one of the city’s famed museums. Day 4: Friday, September 20, 2024 Zurich - Basel - Cruise Begins Depart Zurich this morning for Basel. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic tour** of the city that seamlessly blends 15th century with contemporary architecture unlike anywhere else. This afternoon, board your Magical Rhine and Moselle Rivers cruise. Your home for the next seven nights, this ship offers an array of amenities including outside staterooms, unlimited wine with every dinner, and daily onboard musical performances.
